Arrange freely
Move, resize, rotate, reorder, duplicate, and group supported objects with Layers and Area Select.
VMuse features
Design the surface, decide what plays, test the current draft, and prepare a stable version for full-screen Performance.
The Editor
The library stays organized into six clear destinations: Sounds, Templates, Elements, Text, Uploads, and Tools.
Move, resize, rotate, reorder, duplicate, and group supported objects with Layers and Area Select.
Use Pen, Marker, Highlighter, and a fixed-width pixel Eraser through the native PencilKit canvas.
Edit on an overflow pasteboard while Test Draft and Performance remain clipped to the intended Canvas.
Make it playable
VMuse separates visual expression from musical action so creators control exactly where and how sound begins.

The built-in library
Reviewed visual and audio material ships with the app. The core experience never waits for a remote pack or online catalog.
Start with keys, drums, strings, brass, winds, marimba, kalimba, congas, or an electronic chord grid—then edit ordinary project content.
Use integrated keyboards, visible direct-body controls, or separately transformable panels according to each instrument’s module contract.
Build a 1×1 through 8×8 grid, up to 64 pads, and map every pad to a supported built-in or imported Sound.
Test Draft, Publish, Performance
Change the mutable project draft and let VMuse autosave it locally.
Play the current draft without editing or publishing it.
Validate and prepare a stable version for the stage.
Play the prepared published version full screen.
On stage
Performance keeps editing out of the way while preserving fast access to volume, Mute All, local app-audio recording, and a protected exit.
Adjust VMuse’s output from −40 to 0 dB.
Immediately clears active audio, MIDI ownership, and recording review.
Capture only VMuse audio locally—never the microphone or room voices.
Hold for three seconds to leave Performance deliberately.
Follow the task-focused documentation from first project to full-screen Performance.
